Moonlight Sonata
The series plays with the idea of vanity (vanitas—'emptiness, futility, or worthlessness'). Objects that suggest care, intimacy, and transformation—refracted, untethered, dreamlike. Like the first movement of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, they carry a quiet persistence, a sense of something dissolving yet continuous, slipping between melancholy and reverie. The dark background isolates them, making them feel both weightless and significant, as if glimpsed in a half-memory or through a glass, darkly.
